This is a rather small sample of glass rods and the colors available used to make beads. We purchase glass rods from USA, Italy, Japan, and Germany, and these are the rods that are melted in a torch, adding different rods of color to make each bead.
I am glad to tell you i did not burn myself while pausing to smile...Here denise is, working on the torch making beads....I have protective glasses on to shield my eyes from harmful rays, and I have an industrail venthilation system (the huge pipe-thing) to take away harmful vapors and renew air. I am resting my arms on arm rests my husband made for me to keep my hands steady.
